When I saw our new office space wasn't functional and didn't have proper furniture, I took the initiative to design a space that better fits the need of the team and become an inspiring place to work. Two other coworkers jumped in and it quickly became an awesome collaborative effort. Here is the final renders I did for our proposed design.
Mood boards
We created mood boards and three different themes and an additional one for our main shared space, the lounge.
Process in C4D and AR/VR
We used different tools like C4D and Octane Render, but one cool thing was to use our own space planning mixed reality application, Microsoft Layout. We were able to bring our concept on HoloLens device to get the feel of the space as we were designing, then also collect feedback from our peers. It was a great experience that allowed us to use our product in a similar context to our customers, which resulted into finding some pain points and getting new ideas to make our app a better tool for space designers.
